About the Work

Newcastle Brown Ale has a surprisingly smooth, light, delicious taste. Unfortunately, due to its darker color, many people mistakenly assume it to be bitter and heavy. To clear up the misconceptions around Newcastle we launched our summer campaign with a spot appropriately titled “Misconceptions.” The spot lets beer drinkers know it’s not their fault they had the wrong idea about Newcastle and that it’s never too late to enjoy it’s smooth and delicious flavor. We launched Misconceptions through social media channels and it was accompanied by an extended cut of the commercial, social posts, and a t-shirt giveaway. It’s a surprisingly honest campaign to spread the word about our surprisingly delicious beer.
