About the Work
Kernit Display is a custom typeface conceived for an exhibit on the work of Jim Henson. The typeface sought to give the show a voice that is both unique and true to Henson's work and visual style. We were inspired by the design of the characters that Henson brought to life on screen, as well as the bold typography of the late 1970's. This, combined with a contemporary approach to layout and design, became our visual language to introduce the work of Jim Henson to new audiences.
