About the Work

April 15th was the 199th annual celebration of National American Sign Language Day. So the King decided to break his long-lasting silence to celebrate the Deaf community and invite them to create an easier way to order the Whopper, the #WhopperSign. Through an in-store stunt, were we transformed every word in the restaurant to ASL, and a series of social media activations, the King, together with the Deaf community, co-created the Official sign for the Whopper, making Burger King the first brand with a sign in ASL.
