About the Work
Sports Experts is the biggest franchise-based activewear retailer in Canada with more than a hundred stores in Québec. Here, people have a non-punitive rapport to exercice so our mission is simple: give everyday people a good reason to get active. We wanted to bring this purpose to life by creating a startling device that would motivate and reward Quebecers for making an extra effort when it’s easy not to and transform the initiative into a thumbstopping, newsworthy piece that reinforced our commitment to helping Quebecers live a better life. The Thermal Discount is the World’s First Heat-Based Discount, pairing a radiation-sensitive thermographic camera with a body heat analyzing algorithm and operating atop Montreal’s steepest subway station to reward those who take the extra step.
