About the Work
Christmas is the festival of love. Nevertheless, it’s often about expensive gifts that many cannot afford: Among our customers, 44% must count every cent. We didn’t want to put more pressure on them. Instead, we reminded them of something they already have. The most valuable gift ever: love. Christmas doesnt need much. Only Love. We tell the story of a mother giving her son a wonderful gift without money - just with her creativity and love. Just like the story itself, also the visual execution should be handmade and full of love. Within an elaborate mixed-media-production, we went into every detail: Seven miniature sets were lovingly handcrafted. Each ice-flow was individually sculpted, poured into coloured resin to achieve the iceblue luminosity. Six characters were digitally brought to life. Finally, the two worlds intertwined seamlessly. 22 million views and numerous comments prove that this unique look hit people right at heart.
