BACKGROUND 1898. A critical moment in the growth of America, which needed investments to build the roads, railways and city infrastructure of a modern nation. It was also the year that John Nuveen founded a pioneering company, with a new approach to investing designed to trigger positive impact with every dollar spent. Something now referred to as “Responsible Investing” or “R.I.”. CHALLENGE While Nuveen has been a leader in R.I. for more than a century, many financial institutions have recently made aggressive moves into this space, with competitors introducing their first concerted R.I. products. So,we needed a powerful way to demonstrate, not just tell, our story. Watch the case study video to see what we did with the Forbes400 ,to reimagine how American’s saw wealth, with a project that took 7 months and 36 researchers to execute. The results, as Warren Buffet will testify, were amazing.
