About the Work
Coca-Cola wanted to re-own Xmas in Brazil. So, it went to one of the biggest holiday traditions of the country: Globo TV's Christmas Special Show. Coca-Cola became the first brand ever to sponsor and co-create this soap opera. And took this chance to bring a necessary matter to Brazil's culture and TV: representativeness. The show presented the story of a black family. They are short on money and still feeling the recent loss of the grandma. So, Orlando, the grandfather, decides to seek work as a shopping mall Santa. He faces prejudice, but the magic happens in the show as he becomes the Santa Claus of the Coca-Cola Truck Tour.
