Prime Video created the first 100% TikTok series. “Cités” is an ode to France’s youth and French cultural heritage and aims at demonstrating that the two are not disconnected, conveying a message of hope and inclusion. It’s made up of 12 episodes in which we follow the everyday lives of various young people, who live in the suburbs outside Paris, “les banlieues”. It shows how they live their lives to the beat of texts by illustrious figures from French culture. Every single stage of the production was carried out directly on TikTok. The series was watched 27M times in the first week.
