Tubi entered the Super Bowl needing to steal attention in a competitive streaming landscape.
So we created a 15-second spot that imitated someone changing the channel from the game to scrolling through the Tubi app on their TV.
It fooled millions. And it created viral conversation bigger than the Super Bowl audience.
That night, Tubi was the only brand in Twitter’s Top 5 trends. We amassed 6.8+ billion impressions, including 1,975 articles. #Tubi on TikTok has 1+ billion views. And online searches for Tubi surpassed two of our main competitors, Hulu and Paramount+, for the first time in our history.
