About the Work
What makes an idea worthy of a Clio Health Award? Can there be a pattern? Is there a certain way of going about it that might produce better, more meaningful work?
These are the questions The Anatomy of Great Creative sets out to answer.
Crafted to remind creatives of the prestige of the Clio Health awards, this idea—designed in the style of an anatomical poster—comes to life as a whimsical dissection of a coveted Clio statue, with the simple intent to playfully reveal what it takes to win one.
An imaginative and endearing 3D-rendition of the anatomy of a Clio statue sets out to define the parts that make up any memorable idea. Striking a balance between the skills and the drive it takes to produce great work, such as the Voluntary Hand-Raising Reflex, the Unwanted Feedback Filtration System, and the Cortex of Continual Creativity; it also nods to the unique challenges we face in healthcare advertising, like the Self-regulating MLR-teries and the Annotation Station.
The poster was printed and sent to the CCOs of the leading health and wellness agencies to invite the most creative minds in the industry to show us what they’re made of.
