About the Work
For the launch of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S23 series, we were asked to showcase the Galaxy S23 Ultra as a pro-grade camera made for everyone, highlighting it’s capabilities of filming in low-light conditions.
The project aimed to create content that would showcase the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera capabilities at night by collaborating with a renowned film director Na Hong-jin, who is known for his unique mise-en-scène utilizing dark images and suspense elements, to create a short film shot entirely with our product in a dark environment.
Entire work was filmed in a dark environment with the theme of 'Faith'. The 'Faith' depicted in this film contains complex content that one's own values and beliefs may not always be absolute. This 'Faith' is symbolized by a 'key', demonstrating that the values and beliefs we universally accept are not always necessarily right.
