About the Work
2023 marked the 10th anniversary of Japan's Hoshi Awards for short-form science fiction. In creating posters for the occasion, we sought to design them in a way that was appropriate for this milestone year. Since science fiction as a genre explores a countless array of possible futures, we created graphic icons for each of the past decade's award-winning works and depicted them as passengers departing on journeys to different futures. With this imagery, our posters reflect the important role the Hoshi Awards play in inspiring people to imagine the vast possibilities the future holds.
