About the Work
The Christchurch Art Gallery identity is based around a specifically designed and very distinctive typeface. As a giveaway to promote a farm/rural exhibition, aimed at school children, rather than produce a flyer masks were created with information on the reverse and representations of common animals (deer, sheep, bull, horse) were created using full letterforms from the gallery typeface and the gallery red ñ which made them immediately identifiable to the local communtiy as a gallery promotion.
