About the Work
The Adobe "Creativity Conducted" FlashÆ Interactive Wall experience features a holographic-like projection system on which you can paint images and designs using a Nintendo Wii (TM) remote control. Adobe premiered this full-screen Flash application, which runs in HD resolution, during its Adobe MAX 2007 event in Chicago. The experience ran uninterrupted for the duration of the party (4 hours), and received nonstop foot traffic resulting in 68 artistic creations submitted as images to a Flickr (TM) account. To date, over 600 images have been created from four different events.
The interactive wall was built on Adobe technologies and tools, and showcases FlashÆ Playerís capabilities. Taking advantage of the latest multi-core capability additions in the ìMovie Starî release of the player, we achieved 30-60fps, running at 1280◊720 resolution.
