Around the 40s, racism led original songs from black artists to be completely changed and sung by white artists just to conform to the white audience. This is considered “whitewashing” and very popular songs like "Louie Louie", "Tutti Frutti" or "Surfin' USA" are a product of it.

At B&O we fight against convention, that's why we will make re-editions of the original songs that will be performed by emerging black artists to bring back the lost black legacy.

This way, everybody will be aware of which community these songs belong to and will also be able to appreciate the recovered afro American sounds through our speakers.
