The assignment was to create a completely new brand that does not yet exist. I developed “Lume,” a lighting brand inspired by mycelium—the root-like network of fungi made of fine threads called hyphae, known for its rapid growth and ability to bind organic matter. I studied the structure and growth patterns of mycelium, translating its organic textures and interconnected networks into a refined and minimal visual language. The final result is a cohesive visual identity system and packaging design for "Lume", expressing the idea that light can be grown rather than manufactured.
