Young Guns 19 Ceremony + Party

Wednesday, November 17, 2021
6:30–11:00 PM

Are you ready?! It's our first in-person event in more than a year and a half, so you know we had to come back in style! On Wednesday, November 17, the winners of Young Guns 19 will be celebrated at New York City's Sony Hall, and the entire creative community is invited to join in on the traditionally raucous festivities.

The coveted Young Guns Cube is a trophy that is redesigned every year by a past Young Guns winner so as to be unique to each class. The YG19 winners will each be presented with a Cube created by YG12 winner Simon Chénier-Gauvreau, the Montreal-based Head of Design at TUX. Additionally, one exceptional YG19 winner will be awarded the Levine/Leavitt Artist-in-Residence Award this evening, earning a full year of artist representation.

More than winning a Cube, the YG19 class is also entering an exclusive club of past Young Guns winners, including such names as Stefan Sagmeister (YG1), Bonnie Siegler (YG1), Rei Inamoto (YG4), Tim Goodman (YG7), Jessica Walsh (YG8), Dana Tanamachi (YG9), Lauren Indovina (YG11), Moth Studio (YG12), Braulio Amado (YG13), The Daniels (YG14), Noemie Le Coz (YG15), and Tré Seals (YG17). The Young Guns party has traditionally brought many past winners out to welcome the new class, and seeing that last year's awards had to be virtual, there's more reason than ever to come out and celebrate.

And speaking of last year's virtual ceremony, because they missed out on partying in person, this year's celebration will also shine a spotlight on the 31 amazing winners of Young Guns 18!
