What if the crash-test dummies were a real family? Today, 2 of 3 children in France are not correctly attached in the car or not attached at all. The French Road Safety Delegation wanted to warn everyone about the dangers of this, drivers or passengers, especially those in charge of children in their car. To raise awareness, we organised a crash-test on Facebook live, featuring a family of crash tests dummies, who were not wearing a seatbelt. A crash-test is a brutal and cold experience that simulates the reality of an accident. But we transformed it into a human drama. In the split-second delay of the Facebook live, just before the crash, we showed all the terrible impact of such a crash on a family. The dummies were not real, but what we showed were the true and horrific results of not wearing a seatbelt.
