About the Work

Weekly Shonen Jump is a Japanese manga magazine.
The sales of manga magazines in Japan are declining because people nowadays have other entertainments like games and the Internet contents.
Our aim is to promote the mangas to people in Japan and outside Japan.
We made a website and three interactive installations at the special event called "Jump Festa".
The first one is manga puzzle game. Players can use their body and gesture to move the pieces of manga. A lot of people enjoyed it.
People can also play and collaborate together to solve the puzzle beyond their countries on the website.
The second one is Soul Flash using Augmented Reality technology. If people show a special card on their hands in front of the screen, Manga characters appears and moves on it. People can feel the existence of the characters.
The third one is Ninja Exercise that people can play with Naruto moving their bodies.
