About the Work
Commissioned by MoMA, the ?I See? project seeks to attract younger audiences to its contemporary art collections by using film to explore the connection between life and art. Two short films written by us and directed by the filmmaker Azazel Jacobs (?Momma?s Man,? ?Nobody Needs to Know?) launch a series that will invite other upcoming filmmakers to contribute. In this short film, a man considers Rossine?s ?Symphony No. 1.? His audio guide becomes an increasingly intimate dialogue as it draws parallels between the man?s life and that of the sculptor.
