Rattenkiller cordial is based on an old recipe of herbs and was developed for beverage wholesaler Ahlers Getr?nke in cooperation with the ancient city of Hamelin in Northern Germany. The product was launched at the cities 725th anniversary in 2009. Name, design and storyline of the product are based on a well known German fairy tale. In this world famous legend, the sinister Pied Piper first ridded Hamelin of the plague of rats, but did not receive the promised payment and ultimately enticed all the children away from the town.
