About the Work
The poster was a response to the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) Poster Annual Brief ?Sampling the future?. The solution was found in a response to climate change. Rather than committing ink to paper a matrix of magnifying glasses were assembled into a configuration of 5 x 7 grids. Using the sun?s energy and focussing it through the grid of magnifying glasses, holes were burnt into the paper underneath them. OUCH seemed an apt response.
