About the Work
The Japanese artist Moto Waganari asked us to build a virtual show- and salesroom for his beautiful filigree sculptures. But how can users feel the beauty of these sculptures sitting at a two-dimensional screen? Only with light and sound ? we felt ? these objects come to life. In Directing Shadows you can direct the light beam on the website with a lighter or your phone display and experience the 6 interactive sound themes while you?re painting shadows on the wall. The movement of the light changes the sound and you can listen to the artist?s thoughts.
