About the Work
To demonstrate the power efficiency of Snapdragon microprocessors, Denizen created The Bug Circus Generator. Featuring a variety of oddly cute bugs using tiny homemade circus apparatuses to generate power, it's a comedic take on what's needed to charge a Snapdragon-enabled smartphone.
The project ran through YouTube video and Facebook tab components. The content was distributed through outreach to blogs and websites, where users engaged the embedded video or direct links to the components. Upon visiting the Facebook page, users could watch the video and look through additional info-graphic content pertaining to the Bug Generator concept.
Bug Circus Generator increased awareness and generated worldwide publicity around an important but relatively unknown brand. In one week the video received over 1 million views globally and was featured by Wired, Discovery Channel, Gizmodo, Mashable, Treehugger, Adweek, and more. The project quadrupled Snapdragon?s Facebook Likes and went on to generate 3 million views worldwide.
