About the Work

To announce the relaunch of Weather.com and The Weather Channel's new personalized forecasting technology, we tweeted 20 celebrities their personalized weather forecasts, forecasts delivered by a Weather Channel meteorologist dressed to resemble each celebrity's twitter photo. The meteorologist 'Dopplerganger' delivered them an accurate custom-tailored forecast for May 2, 2012, based on the city the celebrity lives in. And, as we expected, those celebrities then tweeted them out to their considerable Twitter followings, turning a very low-budget, silly idea, into a far reaching, multi-media impression silly idea.
