About the Work

Foot Locker is mostly known for basketball and gym shoes. But it also has a huge selection of running shoes. We needed to reach out to runners and let them know that Foot Locker loves running as much as they do. Runners are a different kind of people. And to speak to them, Foot Locker had to create a different kind of campaign. The work needed to be simple and embrace the quirky sensibilities of the running community. With the help of illustrator Geoff Mcfetridge, we created a cast of running characters that represent the actual behavior of runners. Each handmade drawing is a quirky, personal and lighthearted invitation to the running community from Foot Locker: All runners welcome.
