About the Work
“3 PM Brainstorms” was created to reinforce Snickers core message that being hungry has consequences, while establishing the fact that 3 PM is the time of the day when people are hungriest. It ran across the iHeart radio network. The spots are fictional office brainstorms from the past, that all took place at 3 PM. In each spot, the characters end up talking themselves into a different, historically bad idea, that end ups changing the way the world operates on a daily basis. “Airport Bathrooms” illustrates how airport bathrooms became an automated, malfunctioning mess. “Microwave Buttons” offers a glimpse into how we ended up with complicated, counter-intuitive microwaves. And “Chip Reader” imagines how the confusing and frustrating credit card chip reader system emerged a few years ago.
