About the Work

Corona Sunbrew 0.0% is the first nonalcoholic beer with Vitamin D, a product innovation that turned Corona’s brand promise into reality, allowing people to enjoy Sunshine, Anytime. But why have we made such a product? Corona has always encouraged people to enjoy life where they feel most alive: outside, under the sun. However, due to working from home, weather conditions, or the pandemic, society has been inside more than ever before. This sun deprivation saps Corona consumers of their ability to experience true relaxation, and even has physical consequences, including the lack of vitamin D in people’s bodies, essential for strong bones, immune system, and even fighting depression. Today, 1 billion people suffer from vitamin D deficiency, but now Corona Sunbrew offers Sunshine Anytime, with 30% of the recommended daily value of vitamin D in every bottle.

Corona’s goal was to hit 500 million impressions, but Sunbrew surpassed that KPI in only two days; in total, Corona garnered nearly 4.8 billion impressions on the week of launch and sold out 100k liters in just one month in Canada.

In 2022, Corona is projecting to sell 6.7M bottles of Sunbrew in Canada, delivering almost 28,000 extra sunny days. Until the end of the year, Sunbrew will spread even more sunshine, bound to be on shelves in the US, Europe, South America, and Asia.

100% of your daily dose of Vitamin D = 20 min of sunshine
Each bottle has 30% of your daily dose. 0,3 x 20min = 6 min of sunshine

Projected sales: 6.7M bottles.
6.7M x 6 min of sunshine per bottle = 40.2m of sunshine.

1 hour = 60 minutes.
40.2M minutes / 60 = 670.000 Hours of sunshine

1 day = 24 hours
670.000 / 24 = 27.916 = almost 28.000extra days.
