http://thevoted.com/jordan/lastshot-design/ The Jordan Brand is iconic amongst teens, yet many are too young to have witnessed the glory days of Michael Jordan’s career. To celebrate its 30th Anniversary, the brand wanted to reestablish a connection with its performance roots. At NBA All-Star Weekend, ‘The Last Shot’ debuted: a fully immersive LED half-court that let fans virtually recreate two of MJ’s most iconic shots, or freestyle one of their own. As fans entered the 1,200 square foot space, they were surrounded by the visuals and audio from moments in MJ’s career. Depending on whether they chose the 1982 NCAA championship-winning shot, the 1998 game-winner that clinched his 6th NBA ring, or the 2015 freestyle shot – their environment morphed to feature an era-specific and reactive ‘live’ crowd, as well as detailed step-by-step moves on the court beneath them. Fans instantly received a personalized, sharable film of themselves, optimized for social media.
