About the Work

In an effort to teach more people how to motor, we launched an online performance-driving school called SoCal MINI Motoring School. The school's website featured an interactive map that showed dealer locations, dealer badges and several quirky Easter-egg animations.



To begin, users were prompted to select a dealership and hone their skills by playing three fun games that showcased the car's superior parking and handling abilities: Coffee Cup Cornering, Power Parking and Perfect Timing. After playing the games and graduating with their master's in motoring, students received an official SoCal MINI Motoring School diploma to print out and bring in to their local dealer. There, they took a test drive and were rewarded with an embroidered, dealer-specific badgeóone of eight original badass designs.
