About the Work
The Salvation Army and the red shield has become a symbol of hope and rescue around the world.
In order to raise awareness and generate much needed revenue for the organisation, we came up with a tactical idea using photo frames. Photo frames for sale come with a generic photo which one then replaces. Our idea was to replace these generic photos with pictures of the homeless, with the line ñ ëYou donít have to take them home to give a homeí.
A donation form which allowed consumers to pledge money every month was also placed in all the stores where the frames were available.
