Additionally, she holds the role of Instructor at the Miami Ad School, where she passionately imparts knowledge and mentors aspiring creative teams. She characterizes her professional role as one that revolves around 'connecting brands with people,' 'solving communication problems,' and 'leading creative and multidisciplinary teams.' Yet, if you were to ask her for a deeper insight, she would describe herself as a word matchmaker, a playground motivator, a story hunter, and an insatiably curious individual with an astute ability to envision the "what ifs."

Freelance Associate Creative DirectorSean is a freelance Associate Creative Director, Art Director, and creative thinker based in San Francisco. With over a decade of experience, he has worked at top agencies, including Argonaut SF, DDB, BSSP, and VCCP, collaborating with some of the industry's best talent. His portfolio includes work for major brands such as The North Face, NerdWallet, Hulu, Fitbit, Amazon, Cricket Wireless, Lyft, Honey Bunches of Oats, and Muscle Milk. Known for his strategic mindset and innovative storytelling, Sean brings a wealth of industry knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project.
Joe Mascardo
Senior Recruiter at HookJoe Mascardo is a Senior Recruiter specializing in creative roles, with experience hiring across various disciplines and industries. He also has an expertise in developing efficient recruitment processes that help mitigate interview biases and contribute toward a positive candidate experience for multiple companies. With a decade in talent acquisition, he began his career in client-facing roles at startups before transitioning to recruiting, where he then gained experience on both brand and staffing side. He has helped build teams for companies like Headspace, Monks, and Parachute Home. As a Senior Recruiter at Hook, he manages full-time and freelance hiring, partnering with creative, design, motion, and production leads across the country. Additionally, he co-leads Hook’s Sandbox U mentorship program, developing creatives early in their careers.
David Mattera
Freelance Creative Director at Mattera CreativeOnce a lobbyist (the good kind) and state legislative staffer, David Mattera is a freelance copywriter and creative director based out of the internet, but in real geographic teams, Richmond, VA. He's an alum of EnergyBBDO, GREY, Pereira O'Dell, Peloton, McKinney, FCB, Swift and others. He specializes in conceptual thinking across all media, and specializes in video content like TV, digital video, long form, and docu-style, and social content from the scrappiest of the scrappy and the bougiest of the big budget ideas. He has become an ai music generation expert, and generally does a decent job of writing copy in all lengths meant to inspire people to do things. He aspires to one day build and fly an ultralight aircraft and live to talk about it.
Nicole Nalazek
Freelance Senior Art DirectorNicole is a freelance art director in Brooklyn, NY. She has previously worked at Ogilvy NY, The Brooklyn Brothers, and Terri & Sandy. Her creative work spans TV, digital video, social media, activations, and out-of-home. Nicole has developed campaigns for brands including Citizens Bank, Nationwide, LEGO, and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Her work focuses on human connection, humor, playfulness, and internet culture.
