Realismo Mágico is a series of four events during Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15)
While we celebrate all year, this year we're shining a spotlight on Latino ingenuity. This resourceful, adaptable, and uniquely creative force often springs from contradiction and limited resources. It's both poetic and practical—picture "Realismo Mágico" applied to problem-solving, turning a "pinch of this and a story about that" into brilliant ideas that sprout from impossible odds. We're showcasing Latin imagination as a living, breathing form of intelligence that machines simply can't replicate. Our vision for the future isn't artificial; it's amplified.

Joseph Delhommer
US Executive Creative Director at Amazon Brand Innovation LabJoseph is a US Executive Creative Director for Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab. As a business lead within Amazon Ads, he manages a team of creatives, strategists, producers and technologists to create innovative, first-of-its-kind campaigns and experiences for brands using Amazon's products and services. He combines his expertise in brand-building, e-commerce and media planning to deliver measurable results for clients.
Throughout his 19-year career, he's worked on Fortune 500 brands across multiple industries, including CPG, consumer electronics, entertainment, finance, apparel, luxury, spirits and technology. His work has been recognized by award shows from Cannes Lions to One Show to Effies.
Mauricio Galvan
SVP, Story at Day One AgencyMau was born and raised in Mexico City and has lived in the U.S. for the past 25 years. He is currently SVP, Story at Day One Agency. Previously, he served as Executive Creative Director at Madwell, Creative Director at Anomaly, Partner and Chief Creative Officer at d expósito & Partners, Chief Creative Officer at Totality, and Executive Creative Director at The Vidal Partnership—all based in the U.S. Before moving to the U.S., he worked in Mexico as Group Creative Director at Terán/TBWA and Ogilvy & Mather, and as Associate Creative Director at Leo Burnett. While at Ogilvy, he was part of the team that won Mexico’s first Lion at Cannes and the country’s first-ever Pencil at The One Show. In his spare time, Mau enjoys movies, drawing, live music, brain puzzles, hunting down the best tacos in New York City, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Malu Garcia
Director Creator Strategy at L'OrealMalu is the Director of Creator Strategy for CeraVe at L'Oréal, where she spearheads a strategic vision that goes beyond simple influencer management. As a Latina in a key leadership role, she focuses on driving authentic storytelling and measurable impact across digital platforms. Her work is informed by a comprehensive approach that includes leading large-scale influencer partnerships, executing brand trips, and designing content programs that resonate with consumers. Her personal aesthetic, inspired by "la dolce vita," and her interests in design, architecture, and jet-set culture also influence her creative work in lifestyle and landscape photography.
Aldo Quevedo
CEO, Creative Chairman at BeautifulBeastAldo is the CEO of BeautifulBeast, an award-winning agency dedicated to reaching Hispanic and multicultural audiences through culturally resonant, high-performing ideas. With over two decades of experience, Aldo was the first Mexican to win a Cannes Lion, be inducted into the AAF Hall of Achievement®, and most recently, into the Círculo Creativo Hall of Fame. A founding member of Círculo Creativo, he has spent his career elevating diverse voices and pushing the industry toward true omnicultural creativity. Raised by a strong single mother, Aldo brings resilience, leadership, and purpose to everything he does. He also serves on the boards of Bachman Lake Together and the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, reflecting his commitment to community impact.
Guillermo Flores (moderator)
Art director, illustrator & graphic designer at ORBEH StudioGuillermo is a Mexican designer and illustrator specializing in visual storytelling for advertising, retouching, post-production, and digital collage. He has collaborated with global companies as a creative and art director, developing projects that range from illustration and brand identity to strategy and execution. His work spans advertising campaigns, editorial covers, and books, and has been commissioned by brands such as Adobe, Apple, Burning Man, Cirque du Soleil, Citi Private Bank, JW Marriott, Marc Jacobs, Nike, Tequila Patron, Sephora and Xfinity, among others. His art has been exhibited internationally in Poland, London, Japan, Australia, the United States, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. Recognized in awards and publications including SPD, 3x3 Magazine, Comm Arts, CQ Journal, CASE Circle of Excellence Awards, LAD Awards, American Illustration, and Lürzer’s Archive, he was also commissioned by Adobe to create the artwork for the Photoshop 2025 splash screen.
