In this tv spot Asians find themselves caught in a stereotype. In reality it’s just a simple misunderstanding.
A great tension is created in the expectation that something is about to go awry and the humour is created in
the reaction when it does. The comedy is paid-off with “Breaking stereotypes for 10-years.”

Objective

To help promote the 10th anniversary of the Reel Asian International Film Festival with humour.

Technical Challenge

The biggest obstacles to producing this spot was time and money. Both were significantly insufficient but the passion in everyone behind this tv commercial made this spot a reality.
