If You Can Read This You Probably Work At Jungle / Jungle Sound Studios

Submitted By Dean Webb

Description

This ad for Jungle Sound Studios in London began as 613 words of English which were then recorded, the resulting sound waves then replaced the original words and the ad ran as a full page in this new soundwave form. It is intended to convey the expertise and mastery of sound that Jungle has in an audacious and eye-catching manner.

Objective

This ad was intended to boost the saliency of an established London recording studio among the
advertising creative community in London.

Technical Challenge

Apart from the fact that none of the people involved had ever had to record a print ad before, the task of actually turning those sound waves into a recognisable 'long-copy' form were quite arduous in terms of tracking, spacing etc. Making it look 'traditional' was actually a difficult task.
