Behind the Stonewall Riots

We partnered with WPP to create a competition that celebrated and amplified the voices of Black LGBTQ+ creatives. Using inspiration from the true igniters of the Stonewall Riots, Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, participants were tasked to develop campaigns for a charity or nonprofit in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Learn more here.

Creative Boot Camps

Our Creative Boot Camps (CBC) provide a pipeline for diverse students to learn how to create and present a campaign for a real advertising agency.

Over a four day period, participants work in groups to develop mock advertising campaigns under the guidance of your company’s top creatives. We’ve hosted our CBC program for participants from over 90 cities, 30 U.S. States, and 15 countries. We’re also able to host CBC programs for recent graduates, mid-level, and senior talent. View some of our previous CBCs below.

DEI Workshops

Both education and awareness are critical to move the needle forward and make advancements for diversity, equity, and inclusion. One of our specialities is hosting workshops, conferences, and panels to promote learning, understanding, and effective communication.

Our team partnered with Verizon to host a two-day conference focusing on the intersection of creativity and diversity. Attendees participated in interactive workshops and small group sessions to foster deeper conversations and connections.

Verizon Days of Inspiration

Earlier this year the One ID team partnered with Verizon to host a series of workshops and panels all tied into a two day event. Participants and professionals interacted in small groups to connect for deeper conversations. Topics discussions included innovative thinking, bringing outside interests into the workplace, and finding creative solutions to help build an internal creative culture in a corporate environment.

Diverse Talent Development

Our team leverages The One Club’s global ties with colleges, universities, and industry organizations to help your company identify and source diverse adtalent.

One ID has a longstanding partnership with Verizon AdFellows. Each year, we help AdFellows identify potential talent for their 8-month long rotational program. Students and recent graduates are mentored by industry professionals and gain real world experience by working on highly visible projects.

WAATBP

“Where Are All The Black People?” (WAATBP) is a diversity conference and career fair started in 2011 to address and correct the scarcity of people of color within the advertising industry.

Throughout the event, over 60 companies, and up to 3400 attendees from across the globe, join us for the keynote address, panels, career fair, portfolio reviews, and networking reception.
