This project was created in collaboration with ZainCash and Aymen Hussein, the national football icon and Iraq's top scorer. The objective was to promote the ZainCash Mastercard as a smart and reliable option for everyday payments—by connecting it emotionally with one of Iraq’s most beloved sports figures.
Objective
The creative approach revolved around a signature hand gesture that Aymen performs before every match. By weaving this habitual movement into the core of the commercial’s narrative and repetition structure, the director succeeded in embedding the gesture into viewers’ memories. As a result, Aymen’s symbolic pre-match motion became linked with the act of making payments via ZainCash—making the ad memorable, relatable, and widely shared.
Technical Challenge
From a technical standpoint, the challenge was to craft a cinematic, emotionally charged spot that merged sports culture, branding, and behavioral recall, all while maintaining authenticity and simplicity. The motion graphics and visual language were tailored to reflect the energy of football and the everyday convenience of digital transactions.
