Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) and The One Club for Creativity (TOCC) are now accepting applications to attend the exclusive Executive Creative Summit-Barcelona, taking place on 29 November at Disseny Hub, the day before the ADCE Festival 2023.
The summit is a forum for a select group of industry leaders to discuss issues far beyond the scope of creativity that affect their businesses, providing a rare opportunity for honest exchange of productive ideas in a confidential setting.
As a way to ensure productive two-way conversations, ECS-Barcelona is an exclusive event limited to agency founders, CCOs and managing partners. Sessions include presentations, Q&A and open discussion with all attendees.
Attendees and speakers will represent a diverse range of leaders from both independent agencies and global networks, including members of The One Club for Creativity National and International Board of Directors, as well as board members from ADCE national clubs.
Among the industry leaders set to lead sessions, with others to be confirmed, are:
- Susana Albuquerque, ECD, partner, Uzina, Lisbon; president, Clube da Criatividade Portugal; TOCC International Board member
- Glenn Cole, founder and creative chairman, 72andSunny; TOCC chairman
- Nick Law, global lead for Design and Creative Tech, Accenture Song; TOCC Board member
- Pum Lefebure, cofounder, CCO, Design Army; TOCC vice chairperson
- Nils Leonard, founder, Uncommon London
- Dora Osinde, CCO, Ogilvy Germany
- PJ Periera, founder, creative chairman, Periera O’Dell
- Alexander Schill, global CCO, Serviceplan Group; ADCE president
- Astrid Stavro, creative director, London
- Wesley ter Haar, cofounder, Media.Monks; TOCC International Board member
In order to encourage frank discussion, a strict closed-door format will ensure the highest level of confidentiality. No live streaming, no recordings, no press, no pitches, and no tweets or other social media posts are allowed.
“ECS is designed to foster open dialogue between top creatives who started agencies, run creative departments, and manage ‘the business side’ of creative shops,” said Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity. “It’s the industry’s only forum for these leaders to discuss their greatest business challenges in a confidential setting, and serves as a support network for them to exchange ideas and help each other navigate through those challenges. We are excited to work with ADCE to bring the ECS to Barcelona.”
“ADCE is very much looking forward to hosting The One Club’s Executive Creative Summit in Barcelona this year,” said Alexander Schill, ADCE president, and Global CCO, Serviceplan Group. “This exclusive event gives an international platform to some of the greatest leaders of our industry, enabling them to open the secret treasure chests of their agencies, and share fundamental experiences of today’s biggest challenges. This underlines the DNA of ADCE - that only when agencies, industries and countries work together without barriers, we can truly leave a mark as a creative industry.”
Creative leaders who fit the profile of ECS-Barcelona can apply to attend here. Applications will be accepted up to the day of the summit on 29 November. Once a qualified application is approved by The One Club, attendees can purchase an exclusive ticket for either the summit or ADCE ‘23 Festival and summit. ECS tickets include all group sessions, lunch, and networking cocktail reception at the conclusion.
ECS-Barcelona is an extension of past summits hosted by The One Club in New York during Creative Week, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milan, and is the latest example of how ADCE is bringing global One Club programming to Europe since the organizations merged this past June.
