About the Work
Created by Jam3 & M/M (Paris) and launched as part of a promotional effort around Bjˆrk?s upcoming new album, Biophilia, the site is an artistic and complex constellation like galaxy built entirely in HTML5 that allows visitors to ?fly? through a virtual 3D environment as they navigate the site. The site has divided her vast amount of content into Past, Present & Future sections featuring audio clips introducing the new site, her Biophilia project and her ever growing new wiki as new and archive material is added in the coming months.
Since launch visits to the site have increased a staggering 545%, growing from 150,000 to 820,000 in just 3 months.
