About the Work
HumanLIMITS tells engaging stories of inspirational humans pushing their physical and mental boundaries to the limit – from swimming entire rivers to withstanding excruciating cold beyond what was thought humanly possible. No one would expect a youth audience to relate to an overweight, out of shape, swimmer from Slovenia in his 60’s, but that is exactly what happened; along with the other eclectic subjects featured in humanLIMITS. A blind skateboarder, a twice widowed wingsuit flyer, a dutch naturalist, and a man who injured his brain on the bottom of a pool. This motley crew would become the heroes of the organically amplified series humanLIMITS. With over 14 million views and over half a million shares and likes, the storytelling was structured in a way that encouraged audiences to relate the material to their own lives. Each episode became a conduit by which the audience could express their worldview through sharing.
