"Gateway" :30 TV / North Carolina State University

Description
This TV spot is part of a branding effort for NC State University. The campaign also includes print advertising, radio, Web, social media efforts and an on-campus viral campaign.
Objective
NC State University had not marketed itself in quite awhile. Misperceptions existed about what the school was actually doing today. This spot and campaign were designed to raise awareness about all the cool things that NC State University has to offer, and to seed the message that this school helps students to hit the ground running and change the world.
Technical Challenge
Visually we wanted something that would stand above the normal halftime collegiate spots you see on Saturday ballgames. We were looking for a very contemporary, graphic feel that was in concert with the tone of the spot and the copy being delivered. Sasha Levinson, our commercial director, helped us capture the right look and style.
