About the Work
The film follows the story of a couple taking a drive in the Porsche 911 Sport Classic at the French Riviera. In intercuts from the past showing their private recordings, we see that they have already been driving here decades ago, back then in the original 911 Carrera RS 2.7 from the 70s that served as an inspiration for the current model. They relive the moments from the old days on their drive, until they finally arrive at a lookout high above a coastal village. As they get out of their car, an old 911 Carrera RS 2.7 passes by – they look at each other, get back into their car and drive off in the same direction. Is this the end or the beginning? In any case it’s a “Love Story” - just like the legendary Song from Shirley Bassey, which accompanies the film.
