I was born and raised in South Korea, absorbing Korean traiditional cultures from family, especially from grandmother. After working for an animation company for awhile, I moved to New York City for studying illustration at School of Visual Arts. My illustration style changed from traditional medium like a pencil to digital during this time. Then soon after graduation, I focused on animated illustrations based on my work experience in the past, which thankfully be funded by Adobe Creative Residency Community to explore more about this area. It leads me to work with NC SOFT, Apple TV plus, The Hyundai, Wemade, MAROO Ent, and so on. On top of that, since I moved back to Korea two years ago, I tried my best to engage with illustration exhibitions, events, and festivals in Korea. It includes two solo exhibitions, Young Korean Artists Festival, Gwanghwamun illustration competition by Seoul City, and other group shows.
