Cedric has been an integral part of the new MRY since 2010, when he joined then known as LBi US as Executive Creative Director. LBi subsequently merged with MRY (formerly known as Mr Youth) in January, 2013. Today, Cedric serves as the Chief Creative Officer of a 400+-strong team based in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles and has overall responsibility for MRY’s client-facing creative vision and output in the US, partnering with the agency’s wide range of clients to help them make their brands remarkable. As a member of the MRY Executive team, Cedric helps define the proposition of the agency and the strategic vision for the brand. Work Stuff Cedric leads all new and existing creative in the US, and takes ultimate responsibility for all creative output by MRY. Prior to the merger of LBi US and MRY, in his role as ECD, he was instrumental in spearheading the creation of LBi US (2010) with the merger of Special Ops Media and Icon Nicholson. Also while in this role, Cedric lead the creative process against the SONY Xperia Studio campaign, a digital collaboration with artists, intellectuals, coders and technologists from around the world seeking to test the limits of mobile technology. Prior to working at MRY and LBi US, Cedric lead the creative vision at Tribal DDB NY for almost a decade. Other Stuff In his spare time, Cedric co-founded the US Air Guitar Championships and produced Air Guitar Nation, an award-winning feature documentary about the rise of competitive air guitar. He also co-founded, Schmedlines, a popular daily news headline writing competition. Cedric was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He has an BA in History from Trinity College Dublin.
