Peggy Ang has over 20 years experience in marketing, communications and technology for global brands such as Sony Electronics, Animal Planet/Discovery Communications, and Samsung Electronics America, Coravin Wine Systems and LG Electronics as head of Marketing. At LG, she has led Home Appliance and Mobile category marketing. And since 2020, took an expanded role of leading Home Entertainment marketing as well. Peggy started her career in the ad agency world at Leo Burnett and Hill, Holiday managing clients such as Proctor & Gamble, TJX companies, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Enron and Budget Rent-a-Car. As Chief Marketing Officer at LG, she is instrumental in driving LG’s brand renaissance, from leading the brands’ strategy, multimedia campaigns and integrated programs as well as strategic initiatives and partnerships to bring products and services to market across various categories such as TVs, home audio video products, laptops, home appliances, mobile phones. Most notably, Ang oversaw the successful launch of LG’s Instaview Refrigerator, DualScreen phone and WashTower Laundry products, Samsung’s premium line of LED/Smart/3D/Curved and Ultra High Definition TVs and Home Appliances among others, as well as spearheaded the company’s digital and social media initiatives. This has resulted in building them to premium beloved brands we know today. Ang has been recognized by Ad Age, Media Post and Dealerscope as a leading marketer and has received Effie, Addy, Promax BDA awards for exemplary work. She is a strong advocate of brands’ commitment to diversity, inclusion and CSR as exemplified in her body of work thru the years.
