About the Work

A series of typographic illustrations for the summer issue of New York Magazine. The expressive lettering celebrates the moment of reemerging from quarantine in the beginning of summer of 2021. The funky letterforms, which seem to be dancing on the pages, together with the vibrant colors convey the festivity, joy and relief of New Yorkers. The series consists of the title lettering on the cover, five titles within the article and a set of secondary illustrations spread out throughout the article.
