About the Work
‘That Reading Feeling Awaits’ gives life to the invisible magic that happens inside our imaginations when we read - visualizing the co-production of writer and reader.
Films pivoted from objective reality to subjective imaginations, as a collective of artists were tasked with conveying each respective feeling. In social and out-of-home, we teamed up with 20 more illustrators, animators and digital artists to visualize the highly unique and personalized experience of cracking open a good book. Then, as readers began to fall back in love with the medium, we created a bespoke sticker pack and emojis to allow everyone to share their love of reading across social platforms.
Not only did the campaign help reignite people’s passion for books and reading, but it proved that even in this 21st century media landscape, books were just as relevant now as they ever were.
