The game allows users to customize their virtual producer character, choose a mentor that allows them to gain specific character/style attributes (e.g., Pharrell unlocks the attribute of Synesthesia as he himself in real life has this condition), and progress through various chapters dedicated to mastering different aspects of music production. These aspects include rhythm, melody, chord progression, terminology, drum patterns, theory, network, practical application, placements, understanding the music business, and developing a unique brand. "Synthax" encourages community collaboration through features like the "Monthly Hit Quest." In this feature, a real-world artist requests beat submissions from the Synthax community, providing an opportunity for players to have their beats featured in real-life music releases. To enhance the gaming experience, the invention includes optional extensions such as a virtual plastic MPC and a real MPC extension, allowing users to bridge the digital and tactile aspects of music production. It also offers screen share compatibility for connecting the game to a larger display for a more immersive experience.
